Advocacy/Patient Perspectives Event I (Sponsored by the Miami Project to Cure Paralysis)
Sunday, June 26 from 12:30 to 1:30 pm
This luncheon will consist of a roundtable conversation between neurotrauma survivors/caregivers and researchers. Attendees will be informed on a study that will be launched to better address the needs of those that experienced a SCI or TBI. Preliminary findings will be presented to start roundtable conversations. This lunch will provide:
- an opportunity for TBI and SCI survivors and caregivers to meet neurotrauma researchers and clinicians
- an opportunity for neurotrauma researchers and clinicians to gain new perspectives on the daily challenges of the TBI and SCI populations
- an opportunity to identify dichotomy of priorities between TBI and SCI survivors and neurotrauma researchers
A lunch ticket of $15 is required for attendance and space is limited . This is a great deal as NNS is subsidizing most of the lunch. It includes sandwich or wrap, side, chips, dessert, and drink. Several options are available.
