Dr. Filous is an Assistant Professor at The Ohio State University. Her research is focused on understanding complications after spinal cord injury using clinically-relevant rodent models. In particular, she is interested in how acquired infections impact recovery after SCI and developing strategies to protect the spinal cord. Her work spans basic through clinical studies.
