Felix Sanchez is a first-year Graduate Assistant in the Neuroscience PhD Program at Marquette University. He obtained his bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in Spring 2022. He is interested in the neural control of breathing following cervical spinal cord injury. Prior to starting his PhD, he was a full-time research technician for 3 years (1.5 years in Dr. Ken Brockman’s laboratory at Medical College of Wisconsin and 1.5 years in Dr. Kristi Streeter’s laboratory at Marquette University). Felix’s research techniques include neurophysiology, immunohistochemistry, whole-body plethysmography, diaphragm pacing, and rodent animal care and handling.
