Dr. Nelson is Professor and Director of Translational Research in the Department of Neurosurgery at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Her research focuses on classification of acute TBI, measurement of clinical outcomes, and building new healthcare systems. She has had a leadership role in several national and international TBI initiatives.
