I am a PhD candidate in Biomedical Engineering at Florida International University (FIU), where my research focuses on neuromodulation techniques in neurodegenerative disease models. My work integrates computational modeling, device design and fabrication, and neural data analysis to better understand and address neurological dysfunction.
Prior to beginning my doctoral studies, I worked at Kindeva Drug Delivery (formerly Meridian Medical Technologies), where I developed strong skills in device engineering and project management. Beyond my technical work, I am committed to mentorship and community engagement, particularly through my involvement with the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE), where I support initiatives that encourage and empower underrepresented students to pursue careers in STEM.
