Dr. Armstrong is Professor and Chair of Anatomy, Physiology, and Genetics in the School of Medicine at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. Her research program uses diverse techniques and translational approaches focused on cellular and molecular mechanisms of pathophysiology and neuroregeneration in white matter injury.
