Julie Rios, Associate Professor

Division Director

Julie (Sroga) Rios, MD joined the faculty at University of Pittsburgh Medical center as the Division Director of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility and the Medical Director for the Center for Reproduction & Transplantation in 2021. Dr. Rios also serves as the REI fellowship program director. Dr. Rios had previously been on faculty at the University of Cincinnati since 2012 after completing her fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. She is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. She graduated from Wright State University School of Medicine in Dayton, Ohio and was a resident at The Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. Dr. Rios is an Associate Professor at the University of Pittsburgh College of Medicine. Dr. Rios serves on both local and national committees and has interests in fertility preservation, microbiome effects on fertility, genetic causes of primary ovarian insufficiency, women’s concussion, and sex differences in disease
