Andres is a recent University of Pennsylvania graduate currently taking a gap year before going to medical school. He was born to two Mexican immigrant parents in New Rochelle, New York, where he grew up. His research interests involve studying traumatic brain injuries through the scope of biomarkers in order to have better measures for injury severity.
