Enya Caballero is a Research Assistant in the Martin Doughty Lab at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USUHS). Her research focuses on the neuroimmunological effects of Pregnancy Specific Glycoprotein 1 (PSG1) in mitigating secondary injury following TBI. An aspiring physician-scientist and UMBC alumna, she plans to pursue an MD-PhD in Pediatric Immunology to bridge the gap between bench research and clinical care in Maryland.
