NNS 2026

Hope Nyarady, Miss.

Graduate Student Research Assistant

I am a fourth year PhD Neuroscience candidate at the University at Buffalo. I study Photobiomodulation (PBM) therapy on adults who have recently suffered a mild Traumatic Brain Injury or concussion. I use symptomatology questionnaires, neuropsychological tests, electroencephalogram (EEG) testing, and neuroinflammatory biomarker analyses with saliva samples. My career goal is to remain in the academia field and continue to passionately research neurorehabilitation techniques for traumatic brain injury while teaching and mentoring students in neuroscience. I am also interested in careers as an adjunct faculty and research in a hospital setting.
