Suhrud Rajguru, Dr.

Professor

Suhrud Rajguru, Ph.D., is a Professor of Biomedical Engineering and Otolaryngology at the University of Miami, where his work bridges research, education, and innovation in hearing and balance science. His research focuses on the mechanisms, diagnosis, and treatment of inner ear disorders, supported by the NIH, the VA, and industry partners.

He is co-founder and Chief Scientific Officer of Restor-Ear Devices, and leads multiple translational science initiatives, including I-Corps@NCATS, NSF I-Corps Hub, the USTAAR startup accelerator, and workforce development efforts at the Miami CTSI. As Co-Director of the Institute for Neural Engineering, he collaborates across disciplines to develop technologies that improve health outcomes.
