Shotaro Saito received his Ph.D. in Science and Engineering from Toyo University in Japan. He is currently a postdoctoral fellow at the Institute for Exercise and Environmental Medicine and UT Southwestern Medical Center in the United States. His research focuses on cardiovascular and cerebrovascular function in patients with traumatic brain injury (TBI), from the perspective of integrated cerebral blood flow regulation, with the ultimate goal of developing effective strategies for early detection of dementia risk after TBI and linking detection to prevention.
