Tara Nash, Mrs.

Research Clinician

Tara Nash, CNP, is a Nurse Practitioner working as a Research Clinician within the Restorative Neurotrauma Lab (RNL). In this role, Tara contributes to interdisciplinary research focused on improving outcomes for individuals living with traumatic spinal cord injury (SCI) and traumatic brain injury (TBI).

Within the RNL, Tara supports the design, coordination, and implementation of clinical research studies that explore innovative approaches to neurorecovery, rehabilitation, and long-term care following neurotrauma. Their work bridges clinical practice and research, helping translate emerging scientific findings into meaningful applications that can enhance patient care and recovery.

As a Nurse Practitioner, Tara brings a patient-centered perspective to research initiatives, with particular interest in how evidence-based interventions can support functional recovery, quality of life, and long-term health after traumatic neurological injury. Her clinical background informs the lab’s work by emphasizing practical, real-world implications for individuals living with SCI and TBI.
