Alex Villahermosa joined the Army in 2002 and served as a Green Beret with multiple combat deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. He received a direct commission in 2017 and completed medical school at the Uniformed Services University. He is currently a Neurosurgery resident (PGY5) completing an enfolded Neurocritical Care Fellowship.
