Mohamad Bakhaidar, Dr.

Neurosurgeon

Mohamad Bakhaidar, MD, MSc, FRCSC, is a neurosurgeon with advanced training in spine surgery. He completed neurosurgery residency at the Montreal Neurological Institute, McGill University, in Montreal, Canada, followed by a spine fellowship at the Medical College of Wisconsin. He also holds a Master’s degree in Experimental Surgery from McGill University, with a focus on surgical education and simulation.

He is currently pursuing further specialized training in spine surgery, with a focus on minimally invasive and endoscopic techniques. His academic interests include simulation-based surgical education, spinal biomechanics, and innovation in spine surgery. Dr. Bakhaidar is also interested in health leadership and management, particularly in advancing surgical training, improving systems of care, and supporting high-quality, evidence-based spine practice.
