Travel Awards
Trainee Travel Awards
The National Neurotrauma Society offers Trainee Travel Awards to ensure that undergraduate students, graduate students, and postdoctoral fellows are given an opportunity to attend the conference and present their work. Any trainee who registers for the conference and also submits an abstract may apply for a travel award. The selection process includes abstract review as well as consideration of details from a cover letter and letter of recommendation.
For the purpose of Neurotrauma registration, the definition of a “Trainee” is a member delegate who meets at least one of the following criteria:
-
An undergraduate, graduate, nurse or medical student at an internationally recognized university or college.
-
A postdoctoral student who has completed an MD and/or PhD who is currently under the supervision of mentor (or advisor) for the purpose of acquiring additional training.
-
A resident who is in training at an accredited or internationally recognized university/hospital training program.
